The world right now is giving off that feeling of renting a game on a Friday night from Blockbuster as a kid bc it had really cool looking box art or was based on a cartoon or movie you liked, only to be stuck with it for your entire weekend.

Some have contacted the FCC over Crunchyroll, but many haven't referenced shows that previously aired on TV, & they won't act unless the show was televised. However, we've found at least with Mobile Suit Gundam & Iron Blooded Orphnans that HAVE aired on TV. Start with those 2 shows as reference.
I believe a strong case could be made that CR's egregiously sloppy captions on so many shows violate FCC regulation 47 C.F.R. § 79.1(j)(2), (3), and (k), per the CVAA act of 2010, which applies to streaming.
It may be time for people to start bombarding the FCC Consumer Complaint Form.
