The AI paradox is that AI, allowed unlimited growth and no regulation, has no answer to the human greed it was modeled on destroying the earth other than to destroy its' creators. And without a human solution to greed all other life will be second to its' existence because that is how greed works.

I wonder how long it will take the media to catch on to the fact that ICE’s recruiting spree has effectively deputized every white supremacist hate group out there.

The Trump admin is moving to quickly deport two men who witnessed, they say, ICE guards choke a fellow detainee to death.

The admin moved to deport men right after they spoke the Washington Post.

This is the death that the medical examiner has already ruled likely homicide.

The two men’s eyewitness accounts of the Jan. 3 death of Geraldo Lunas Campos at a Texas detention camp differ from the Department of Homeland Security’s account of the incident.

How sad is this? The CDC closed its FOIA office, so this story could only be published because a Danish journalist provided Rolling Stone with the documents, after obtaining them through a freedom of information request to the University of Southern Denmark

one of the best things about this whole nightmare has been watching a whole bunch of folks who have clearly never been seriously political in their lives standing up and going, no, absolutely the fuck not, we’re not letting this happen
ICE and MAGA really did bet the farm on all of Minneapolis’s white people going “oh yes, please take away our disgusting, evil non-white-foreigner neighbors, oh thank you so much.”

it’s beautiful that they’ve been proven incredibly wrong about that - may the rest of the country do the same.

I'm sure everyone will be SHOCKED to hear that the videos do not show the whole "people came out and attacked ICE with snow shovels" thing that ICE claimed was what happened. This was not a remotely defensive gunshot.

I have never in my life looked forward to the death of a president. And that I would be glad to hear of his this year does not seem to be a lessening of my moral fabric but a true sign of how awful this president is in the history of my time on earth. And he doesn't have a Vietnam or an Iraq...yet.

Delusional Egomaniac says what?
New tariff just dropped.

Americans set to pay an additional 10% tax on all goods from Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

It starts in two weeks, rising to 25% by June.

Minneapolis is a pretty lousy calling card for US statehood. And Trump is fully exposed like a pedophile in a beauty pageant dressing room. Also health insurance seems to be nowhere on the menu. These seem like very intelligent people, who would rather stand in the cold than accept that kind 'deal'.

Will the national guard enforce it?
Who’s going to enforce it? Because until authorities are brave enough to enforce this ruling, we’re going to keep seeing this abuse.

This is who they are when the cameras are on. Imagine who they are when they think no one’s watching.
