Unfortunately, I think this is also a big problem with journalism & social news sharing. I don't encounter many people who go beyond "so here's scary stuff." I've been calling journalism of that type Doom Journalism. We have articles of bad shit happening, but show us The Good Fight sometimes, eh?

We have better ways to learn. Education can spread in better ways. And we need to go back to on-job training and apprenticeship and learning for virtually every trained job.

Saw a post on TikTok about Columbia taking away degrees backfiring, and it made me realize - taking Degrees is way as punishment demonstrates how these institutions believe that their mission is conferring privilege and not providing education.
