There are lots of important books about concentration camps; two that I have used in my own teaching are "KL" by Nikolaus Wachsmann and "Illness and Inhumanity in Stalin’s Gulag" by Golfo Alexopoulos.

I mean...the reason he's able to hoard insane amounts of wealth and launch a Holocaust against the world's poor by ending USAID is bc something is deeply wrong with him. I'm sure he's incapable of knowing contentment and human connection. And on some level he knows that.
