Pinned
It starts. I must be out of my mind, trying to make an AI-created sweater dress a reality. 😅 But, we'll see how this goes!

Thus far, finding the yarn turned out to be the hardest part. I wanted to use a 5 or 6 for the weight, but the ones I had access to didn't have the dark brown. So #4 it is!

After ten years in Minnesota, I am comfortable saying that this man is so filled with incandescent fury, I’m surprised he doesn’t glow on film.
I genuinely don't know if this is a "Minnesotan" thing or an "old guy of a certain age" thing but in case it's Minnesotan and people need an anger translator: this guy is so angry he could just about set something on fire with his mind.
This one isn’t downloadable but if you have TikTok go watch it. Well worth your time www.tiktok.com/t/ZTr4gRL7v/

Frankly I think this raises my overall estimate of How Angry This Guy Is by at least 15% and it was already pretty close to the top of the gauge.

I am nearly positive that this is my high school AP American History teacher and track coach! If it is, he has a long fuse. I've NEVER seen him even upset, much less this angry.

If you wanna learn more about immune amnesia this is a good primer from the American Society for Microbiology.

Measles binds to your immune system’s memory cells and infects them, effectively erasing their database. It then produces all new memory cells - that contain info ONLY for measles.
Measles and Immune Amnesia | ASM.org
Measles is much more serious than a rash and fever: it also causes immune amnesia and leaves patients especially vulnerable to secondary infection.

Hey folks. Please don't claim or play this from EGS.

Please also consider dropping Fortnite at least for this season(at minimum.)

The only thing Epic understands is money and attention.
at this point if i see you still playing fortnite i no longer consider you an ally

This man is a hero who saved countless lives. He's the best of humanity during the worst of it.
Ahmed al Ahmed, 43, has been identified as the man who disarmed one of the Sydney attackers.

Ahmed was shot by the second shooter, who was firing from a bridge. He suffered 2 gunshot wounds and is undergoing surgery.

Part of the Chanukah tradition is to place the light menorah either outside or in a window where outsiders can see it. This is supposed to advertise the miracle of Chanukah. These days, it is also a way of saying, “This is a Jewish home.”

Every year I think about how it is also an act of bravery.

When they destroyed our Mary figure in our anti-ICE #nativity, I bet they didn’t think that we would make it MORE powerful! Honestly, if you tear something down that you don’t like, you’re pretty much never the good guy. That goes for nativities and the entire county, btw. #DHS, take note.

Dishes are washed, and I even washed the silverware! I now have some recycling soaking in the dishpan, and towels going in the washing machine. #Adulting! Yay!

Gonna work on clearing the floor in my bedroom, so I can finally finish sanding the floor and sheetrock. Still hoping to paint today. 🤞🏻

First #DayOff with #NoHomework! What am I going to do?? 😃💖

Oh. Right. #Clean. 😓

Do I want to? Nope. But this place needs it, really really badly. Working on my final assignments made me neglect almost everything else in my home ( #Sully still got fed, don't worry!), so I need to clean. #CmonFocus!

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a cancer vaccine that has shown STUNNING results, PREVENTING up to 88% of MULTIPLE aggressive cancers by harnessing dual-pathway nanoparticles that train the immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells. In some cases, it COMPLETELY prevented metastasis.

Turned in my final assignment last night, and the semester is officially over (as far as I know)! I am finally free to continue eorking on my #AIinspired #SweaterDress again! Got some Flexee looms to see if I can use those to make a #KnottingBoard, instead of making my own. Fingers crossed!

Heartbreaking. The University of Nebraska will terminate its entire Earth science department.

One of the country's most successful and respected geology & climate programs: gone.

When ideologues & politicians are threatened by the very act of studying climate change, I wonder: who of us is next?
It's over.

Despite the fact that the academic council recommended against it, despite the fact that the program brought in more tuition than it cost, and despite the fact that Nebraskans need & deserve this expertise, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences will be cut.

BREAKING: ‘This hurts’: UNL eliminates 4 programs despite faculty, student pleas
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln eliminates the Earth and atmospheric sciences 8-0, educational administration 7-1, statistics 7-1, textiles, merchandising and fashion design 7-1 programs.

Had to use the search function, but I found the content standard in the MDE Math Standards PDF.
