I love bizarre regional behaviors but I'm not sure the new new Nancy Philadelphia special is reading very clearly

The biggest hope of such people from the current uprising is that "libs" will finally understand that mass/nonviolent politics is pointless and suicidal, and have a conversion experience to become part of the underground/autonomist culture.

For such people, the goal of activism is (a) to hurt State institutions and agents - both as part of a "game theory" approach to dissuade State attacks/build a zone of autonomy, and because it's righteous and pleasant to hurt State agents; (b) to stay alive and out of jail while doing so.

I think libs (and many Leftists) should understand that the people they describe as "opsec cultists" aren't thinking in the same terms of mass politics as they are. In fact, they are generally skeptical and pessimistic about mass politics.
The point of getting a hundred thousand people together to protest the government is that it is impossible to actually take action against any one of them.
We really, really need to squash this idea that the first step in effective protest is ensuring that nobody can ever identify who you are or distinguish you in any way

Hours after I first posted this article, I was told that several VA nurses who are members of AFGE will attend the union’s annual legislative conference in Washington next week to raise the issue of kicking the National Border Patrol Council out of AFGE and the AFL-CIO. I hope they succeed.
