I swear to god my new years resolution is going to be forcing myself to just write & post SOMETHING, anything, even if it's bad. I have started attempts at writing a few times now but got hit in the face w a depression spell and only playing weiqi about it.

Like I never intended to become an Xmas hater but I wore my emerald green coat to work yesterday because it's WOOL and WARM and my coworker who knows I am Jewish told me I looked very festive. It's literally just the color green my guy.

Btw if I had to write a "Christmas" MDZS fic it would be a modern diaspora AU where the family owned restaurant is open on December 25th because absolutely no one celebrates Christmas. Restaurant is always packed with their Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Daoist etc neighbors stopping by.

With December just around the corner I am..... unfortunately thinking about how I have seen countless Christmas MDZS fics and not really heard boo about it but I HAVE heard wank happen on more than one occasion if someone dared to make MDZS characters Jewish or involve Chanukah. Sigh.
