I love taking pictures of cool people doing things. I'll use this thread to post about the works I'm most proud of.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Almost every morning, I wake up tired and heavy from all the horrors of the world, then five minutes later I'm laughing out loud at my two cats zooming around the apartment. I feel so lucky to have these two idiots.

I just saw a toddler, in a stroller, with a phone in front of them, swapping indefinitely on AI generated videos of babies laughing and eating.
The way the child was swapping was way too confident for their age.
I cannot imagine what that can do to their brain. I am horrified.

I finished Carimara, a short 3D investigation game set in a fantasy house inspired by Norman folklore. It is both slightly horrific and very playful. The writing and the French dubbing are fantastic.
I have motion sickness in FPS like that, but I persevered because the game was so enticing.

Fun fact: one of the official intended purposes of the robot that will accidentally karate chop sealed water bottles into a geyser is "caring for the elderly".
This is both funny and fascinating to see, but notice how the bottle *explodes* when the arm of the robot goes down at the end.
This thing is also incredibly dangerous.
can't stop watching this clip of a tesla Optimus teleoperator taking his headset off before properly logging out the robot

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

It was just what I had hoped for. What a trip!
I didn't come to Silksong to "git gud" (I'm really not), but to find back the sense of adventure and exploration of Hollow Knight and boy did it deliver!
This is one of the most generous games ever done.🧵

Some time ago, I posted about the movie Taroman that I really loved. This short is in the same universe and gives a good idea of how creative and weird it is.

I have a bunch of highly visible big games in my queue, but I managed to snick in an indie game that deserves a shout-out.
Öoo is a delightful puzzle game that managed to make me feel like a genius after solving puzzles that I had to think on for exactly the right time to not give up on.

Surprising absolutely nobody, I loved Baldur's Gate 3 and want to start a new run immediately after finishing the first one.
Spent 160h in it because I needed to check every pixel of every map...
And I have Silksong and Hades II queued already. What a time for escapism!
