This is not the most important thing, but a really good reason to educate your kid in math early is you end up finding pieces of paper with equations written in little girl handwriting, with hearts and cats drawn around them.

#duolingo energy cuts you off mid lesson then makes you watch an ad to then cut you off again mid lesson. It's a killer for me. A note at the start of the lesson saying "you won't get through this" would be nice. The free tier just went anti-learning by penalising when you quickly answer correctly.

I can strongly recommend this. The sci fi scale is epic, the characters are well rounded and slice of life adorable and then there's moments of pure steel. It's a hoot!
