It’s day 76 of the ICE occupation of
MSP.
ICE is still here - we still have vastly more agents on the ground than we did in late November.
And those agents are still kidnapping our neighbors and terrorizing neighborhoods.

I'm feeling kind of normal for the past couple of days. For about a week I've been feeling completely off. I couldn't sleep normally for some reason. I think I'm better, but we'll see how the next week pans out.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.
The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.

Nothing can convince me this dog understands what those buttons he's pushing mean.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
