Go, the courageous and righteous Governor Janet Mills of the Pine Tree State 🌲!
I want to salute the Governor of Maine Janet Mills who, in that room with a raging Trump and silent complicitors, stood her ground and said, “see you in court!”

Maine residents, show your support for your Gov for standing up for your independence.

Did he not see the number of businesses Trump had that failed?
Or that he never paid contractors?
Laid-off IRS employee said he had voted for Trump: "I thought that someone with his business acumen would have come in with a fine-tooth comb and actually found it instead of coming in with a wrecking ball and destroying people’s lives for no reason."

The government's migration bill is, simply, an enactment of base inhumanity. Labor has no better claim to being moral than the Coalition; the only real difference is that the Coalition celebrates its nastiness.

None of us can fucking afford organised sports outside school for our Kid ffs. Social media isn’t the reason children don’t play sport, cost is
The PM's op-ed in the Advertiser today is repeating the line that getting kids off social media is so they can go play sports. 🙃

Today I introduced this in Parliament. It’s time the Big Tech giants were made to manage their algorithms to make our online experience safe, time we stopped asking users and parents to be the solution to social media harm. The operators of these platforms should step up. My Bill would achieve that.

I mean he could better fund public schools so kids can play sports and music etc etc.

But nah. That would be too obvious.

I see a junior economist in the AFR keeps trying to argue that government spending made inflation worse.

Problem is the year in which inflation peaked public sector demand was as low as it'd been for nearly a decade.

As we approach the final sitting week of our Federal Parliament, housing is the most important issue for so many people in this country.
With this in mind, Labor will spend this time trying to make sure that 15 year olds can’t use Instagram.

Just a thought. When Hitler swamped Germany, particularly cosmopolitan, sophisticated Berlin, who never liked him nor voted for him, those who opposed him were fatally isolated. Not so anymore. Social media is bad & good. At least it means we anti fascists can also bond beyond borders & we should.

Brereton is doing a great job of filibustering this NACC oversight committee hearing which has just 90 minutes for questions from senators. Almost half an hour gone now and he's still in his opening statement. Mostly rehash of his speech from last week so far.

Voting indie? You'll be told 👇

"You're wasting your vote"

"You'll get dUtToN elected"

"Minority Govts cause chaos"

If anyone says any ONE of those things, they're a two party barnacle. Flush.

Voting indie in this election (if they're good) has never been more important
