Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

FULU has just started putting out bounties for hackers to try and revive abandoned smart devices. This seems like a great strategy and use of resources for the repair movement!

Infuriated to see how many of these stories end in ghosting. I hire people for $15-$17/hr customer service roles. Everyone who gets an interview gets an email after.

Weird analogy but studying political theory is essentially like building a PC. You get obsessive about researching components (i.e. traditions/axioms) and once you've settled on something you'll be surprised at how quickly you stop caring.

Because once you have what you need, why keep shopping?

Remember the "race to 5G" when it was essential to give telecoms anything they wanted (deregulation, tax cuts, subsides, whatever) to "defeat the dastardly Chinese," then when the U.S. ended up with shittier more expensive 5G suddenly lawmakers just stopped talking about it?

From what I've read, it takes a pretty interesting angle.
