My new sci-fi short story is out now in Lightspeed Magazine (and also featured on Gizmodo io9)! 3 planets, including Earth, meet their apocalypse at the exact same time - and their people experience each other's lives in psychic visions before the end.

I loved loved loved narrating "The Aquarium for Lost Souls" by Natasha King.

I've never had so much fun with a voice as figuring out what

might sound like....

Hope you enjoy this beautiful story!

Planning on putting more money into Foofaraw in the back half of the year… but that means I need to spend less time on it so I can bill my paying clients more… so if you want to volunteer and help with editing, reading, design, social media, etc. you know where to find me.

Just a reminder, Crumbs, our new drabble contest, is open! You should write something and enter. I know it’s only been six days, but if the rate of entries continues, your odds of being in the money are *spectacular*. https://qb.foofaraw.press/crumbs-submissions/

If you're building a startup in 2026, you are expected to work with the world's largest venture capital firm (which is not even really a VC firm), where one partner strangled my neighbor to death for being Black, and another actively sought Jeffrey Epstein's counsel for years. This is *normal*.

At least 10% of all sports related income at D1 schools (off-campus merch, licensing deals, concessions, tickets, tv rights), should be pooled together and evenly distributed to every D1 athlete. Irregardless of school or sport, every athlete should get the same amount.
From 2023: Some college athletes, like UNC-Chapel Hill star quarterback Drake Maye, are now making big money from endorsements. Next up: whether they should be paid as university employees.

Every Galaxy A Circle by @pintsncupcakes.bsky.social is terrific. It's a story collection that is not always quite science fiction and not always quite horror while being both of those things in the best possible way.
