March is shaping up to be a very, very good month for us. Not only do we have our special Mindlessly Massive issue, which is also going to print, but our 2025 edition of The Anthology should be coming out as well. And we are already hard at work on our third novelette and The Foofs: Best of Strange

Just like with Brazil arresting their insurrectionists rather than re-electing them, other countries are holding their Epstein-tied politicians accountable far better than we do. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Absolutely loved this story by @crsutton.bsky.social and just finished writing a review of it for @foofarawpress.bsky.social. If you haven’t read “(Skin)” yet, what are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this? Click the link, goddamnit.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

If one were to add a Best Drabble category to their best of strange fiction awards for last year (so anything published in 2025), with $50 prize money and publication in The Foofs anthology, would folks be interested..? Thinking about opening nominations for three days only...

I'm so excited for tomorrow to come so we can publish a new short story and get rid of this monstrosity of a long title, making all the other cards extra tall on our home page. 😝

Textbook. If you are surprised, it is because this shit usually, at least not in the last 150 years, does not happen in the US. And the past is mild in comparison

So in response to “will you investigate people in the Epstein files?” Bondi brings up someone from Raskin’s district who was investigated, plead guilty, and was sentenced to 60 years in prison? I don’t think that’s the clapback she thinks it is… if anything, it sounds like she could use their help.
Bondi: He didn't even know Chase Mulligan was. He is a defendant in your own district who preyed on girls.

Raskin: Well, you know what? If he were part of the Epstein investigation, you wouldn’t do anything about it.

So I was going to try something new for The Foofs and have nominations open all year long, but even before announcing it, I got multiple submissions that were either unpublished, self-published, or published prior to 2026. Is this due to poorly written guidelines or people just ignoring them?
