I started watching Frankenstein today, fully expecting it to be dire based on the sheer number of anti–Guillermo del Toro comments I’ve seen. But so far, I have to say I’m really enjoying it. Perhaps it collapses at some point I’ve not yet reached – but I remain hopeful.
