… where you go back in and push on parts of stories that you might have over-committed to.

I’ve thought about it with drawing too, but haven’t been able to figure out the right way to push back. What ‘exercises’ would help mitigate the mistakes, etc.

A colleague of mine refers to that ‘preserving mistakes’ behavior as ‘premature narrowing’.

Making bad decisions that carry over downstream unknowingly.

In the judgement-and-decision-making universe, they propose ‘broadening checks’ to avoid this.

Reminder that years ago it was found out that the FBI straight up made up a whole bunch of fake forensic sciences, plural. People have gone to jail and been executed due to literally pseudoscience.

Hair forensics, for instance, is totally nonsense.

They admitted it.
