Getting a Hamm’s as my second round at our regular broomstacking bar has become a go-to, partially due to economy (it’s the cheapest can on the menu), but also because it’s a Minnesota beer and it’s nice to feel connected to my home state.

We need to dismantle this system and investigate and prosecute what it has done. Transparency is for things we should keep doing, not for this.
UPDATE: After seeing this video, I informed ICE of my intent to visit the Baltimore facility today. I was told I would be denied entry.

Good. fuck all the saying "this is inevitable" or "it's here deal with it" or even "it's fine"/"it's not a big deal". This is a moveable needle. It's ruining lives (mine included already), ruining the environment, ruining art and creativity, is profoundly antihuman, isn't needed and isn't wanted.

Boquerones - pickled anchovies - with potato chips is just so, so good.
I got myself a good spread of snacks for this festive eve, but it could have just been an entire plate of boquerones on potato chips.

I put these christmas tree scraps on top of the radiator to dry them out a bit for potential wood carving and just realized that it looks like I'm desperately trying to recreate a fireplace with what I have on hand

It was an older car so it was smaller and the hood was low so that'd be "lucky" if I'd actually been struck. SUV or pickup, idk
I just said "I'd rather die than drive a car" and realized that I pretty much *do* put my life on the line when I use my bicycle to get around :\
