I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.
I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.
But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

I'm glad to see a young Democratic Socialist win so decisively in NYC. Now we need a Mamdani administration to succeed in showing the rest of the country the benefits of genuinely progressive policies. We've already seen the alternative & without substantial change we are well and truly fucked.

The current discussion about half of SNAP recipients being employed full time & still need help to just F'ing eat is the starting point for discarding the minimum wage & replacing it with a living wage adjusted by the cost of living in the locations where people live.

Growing up it always struck me how absurd it was for even the Nazis to openly name a govt agency "Ministry of Propaganda" and yet here we are.
A terrific AFP fact check uses reverse image searches to expose how a White House video took scenes from Florida, Texas, South Carolina and Nebraska and lied that they showed "Chicago is in chaos."

In a normal USA the Trump years would leave such a bad taste in the mouths of the US electorate that Republicans would be relegated to the trash heap of history for 50 years. Fox and the right wing media have broken that kind of 'normal' history.
