We may or may not have a king at this point but we most certainly have a nobility of sorts and all it takes to earn a peerage is the price of a car. Those walking or biking are the peasantry of our feudal state.

Jerks in two ton metal boxes that can move at 120mph simply by sticking your toes out are not the same as jerks of 25-50 pound bikes.

Wtf?

MY plan is to make requiring large metal boxes to move one or two people around urban areas a very unusual thing. Until we get there I want to make those metal boxes smaller, slower and more inconvenient to use so that people outside the boxes are safer.

Seems like a good time for me to ask why EV cars drag 300+ miles of battery capacity around & take hours to charge instead of carrying 100 miles of range capacity with easily swapped battery packs. Easily as in on a par with gas fill up for IC cars. Just curious why we have to emulate IC range.

I get that there can be serious issues with retrofitting particularly on older homes but why isn't rooftop solar mandated on flat roof commercial buildings? On new residential builds? Come on lets at least reach for the low hanging fruit.
