While driving to my child’s high school to pick them up, I put my iTunes on shuffle & it played a songs from my high school years. It’s strange how songs can bring you back to very specific moments in time. I can vividly remember the most minute details from 30 years ago all from hearing one song.

Just found out Teamsters have finally reached a deal with Republic. I’ve missed my normal rubbish man. He may be one grumpy SOB but he’s our grumpy SOB and I’ll be glad to see him on Wednesday.

Out running errands with my child & their best friend. I had to go into LLBean to do a return & they decided to go into Whole Foods to get a “snack”. Tell me why they came out with a box of chicken fingers from the take out area & a whole baguette to eat in the car. 😂

Received my first TikTok violation ever today. I guess you can’t use Mr. al-Zaidi’s name as a verb. I appealed it especially since I received the violation within seconds of posting the comment.

I purchased a countertop ice maker. It makes sonic nugget ice. Absolutely no regrets. Glass of ice cold tonic with nugget ice is top tier happiness for me.

Had the coolest notification on our camera this morning. The owl stayed for about 20 mins just scanning the yard for prey.

Pre-Thanksgiving process mid swing already. Finished chopping onions & celery for stuffing. Washed & prepped veggies. Made the spinach artichoke dip to be cooked tomorrow. Now to make compound butter for the turkey. Later baking cookies & brownies. All for the REAL cooking to start in the morning.

Just wanted to let everyone know there is a new independent bookstore in Dorchester, Mass. I can’t wait to go check this place out.
Just a reminder for everyone who is doing the cooking for Thanksgiving. It takes 24 hrs for every 5 lbs to thaw in the fridge & if thawing by cold water method it takes 30 mins per pound. Plan accordingly.

Ended up getting a ton of stuff done today around the house. Finished up all the laundry & did a deep clean on the washing machine. Organized the laundry area in the basement & put some shelves together. We did a basement clean out last week so our basement is empty so I’ll deep clean that this week
