The horrors ICE is engaging in isn’t fake news. Lawyers are giving very specific accounts of people following the asylum process. School staff and neighbors witnessed arrests.

Even law enforcement says ICE is ignoring due process, racially profiling citizens, and holding people in awful conditions.

It really is amazing to listen to a guy who faked bone spurs to avoid serving in the military denigrate combat veterans of our allies while also using “we” when referencing the historical sacrifices and bravery of our own soldiers.

I know it is hard to believe, but I’m pretty sure the NY Times survey shows 75% of Republicans think ICE’s actions are either about right or not far enough.
Every minute ICE is out there publicly defending kidnapping and using a fucking preschooler as bait is a moment they are losing. I refuse to believe that there is an America that wants this shit.
ICE spokesperson Marcos Charles: "My officers stayed with the child. They cared for him. Took him to get something to eat from a drive-thru restaurant and spent hours ensuring he was taken care of. Again, my officers did that, not his father ... his family refused to open the door and take him back"

Insurance lawyer & Trump law-lackey, Lindsey Halligan, is ducking & running, but not before two different federal judges gave her the boot.

I’ve got the scathing order from one judge basically telling her she’s too dumb to discipline & calling out her flagrant misconduct.

If Democrats aren’t whipping votes against ICE funding, and letting conservative members vote to pass it, it means the Democratic Party supports ICE funding.

If your opposition to fascism is performative, then you don’t actually oppose fascism.

While the House Democratic leader announced personal opposition to a funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security, he won’t pressure his colleagues to do the same.

16 years ago, SCOTUS ruled in Citizens United, allowing the ultra-rich to flood elections with dark money.

Since then, billionaires have taken over our gov’t and screwed over working people.

It’s time to pass my We the People Amendment to FINALLY reverse this disastrous ruling.

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.
His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him
