Finished this up today, it just about fit me but looks perfect on Nugget so they've adopted it! It's ever so gratifying to have a 4 year old choose to wear your knitting
Currently on the needles for #ShowMeYourKnits is a trellis hat in a random wool blend from the stash.
I don't think it's going to fit, but I'm carrying on knitting while I decide if I want to start over or just make it to give someone else

put Meatball (7months) in the socks I made for Nugget when they were like a full year old and they pretty much fit like good grief this baby is so big???

cast on a hat at least a couple of weeks ago now which should be going faster than the previous one bc it's aran weight rather than 4ply yarn - but of course you do have to knit the thing for it to progress and I've been doing almost anything but

I think this constant push for immigrants to feel & act ‘grateful’ is so insidious. Let’s change the narrative. Migration is a normal part of human behaviour, not a charity case. If you’re doing your best to do your best, you don’t need to do even more to be accepted. It’s your right to be accepted.

I know it's like, time and budget, but if I were going to do a knitting competition show I'd want viewers to see a better idea of what knitters are up to and the giant yarn and needles isn't it.

Once upon a time I hand spun (with a drop spindle) enough yarn to make an adorable pink beret. I wore it four or five times, then left it on a bus.
Hopefully whoever took it home appreciated their warm head.
