I honestly don't think everyone talks enough about how amazing it was when the world came together to fix the hole in the ozone layer, so I wrote this:

It's a good reminder of what we're capable of.
Let's All Remember When We Saved The World
To remind ourselves we can do it again.

Nova Scotia's iconic Blue Nose is refusing to travel to Trumpland. This is a huge decision given the role they play in the international schooner festivals. But they will not cross the border.
The Blue Nose is your dime. If they can hold the line against fascism. So can you.
Keep the boycott strong.

This is fantastic news.
I mentioned to a couple of people that I had a surprise waiting to be shared when Moderna got approval for its updated COVID-19 vaccine. It’s approved, and the big news??? Completely produced domestically!!!!! 🥳🤩

Approved as usual for all aged 6mo+!

First harvest, all from seed! Hot Portugal, Cayenne, 7-Pot Brain, and something I’m told was called “Bruno Mars” but I’m not sure if that’s a legit name. There are tons more of those, but I’m waiting to see what they do colour-wise. The seem to go from green to purple to yellow to orange. #chilies

It’s vandalism.

(Pity the poor Vandals and Philistines… whom the CPB might have helped us to understand better than to use their names as bywords for heedless destruction of cultural goods. But… here we are).
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been a bastion of civilization and a beacon of culture.

Its demise is a work of malicious philistinism.
BREAKING

Felt like a post-work mojito, and had a couple of strawberries left that were pretty much only good for muddling. I think I chose wisely. #cocktail

Today’s heatwave #cocktail is a variation on the Fort Lauderdale, by the incomparable Sam Ross. I swap the gin for Havana 3 and call it a Hanlon’s Point.

This is really interesting work and demonstrates the powerful potential of VR as a tool to help stress and anxiety in clinical settings. (Even if the term “forest bathing” makes my eyes nearly roll out of my head).
