We’re entering a world where copying isn’t only a compliment, it’s a form of creativity all on its own.

Gloriously concise and on-point summary from Walt and Kira. Really helps explain why people like @vandehei.bsky.social get so excited about Claude Code and why 99% of the rest of us do not. www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...

I have to admit this chart surprises me, it's holdings of bitcoin ETFs in bitcoin. I would have expected the recent selling to show up here and it doesn't seem to have done so. dune.com/hildobby/btc...

Hive mind: Is the Washington Post in a better or a worse position today than in the alternative universe where the Grahams never sold it?

These extra 10% tariffs re Greenland are exactly the kind of tariffs SCOTUS is going to find illegal on Wednesday, right?

If you can’t understand the sentence “Although statistical evidence suggests otherwise, these unfortunate events are happening more often” then you can’t understand today’s politics. (I am definitely in the “this breaks my brain so don’t look to me” camp.)
“Although statistical evidence suggests otherwise, these unfortunate events are happening more often,” is truly one of the funniest things to come from the slug colony in this man’s head.

What’s the German word meaning “the choice-regret one feels after breezing through a bunch of easy 5-point questions in Bloomberg’s Pointed quiz, knowing that the 30-pointers are going to be much more difficult”?

As @matt-levine.bsky.social heads off on a well-earned break I just want to point out the degree to which he’s changed the world.
10 years ago, the answer to “Have you seen all the other fraud indictments?” was “no”. Now, thanks almost entirely to Matt, it’s “yes!”

The run that Rob Reiner went on between 1984 and 1992 is one of the most amazing hot streaks any director has ever had. Legendary stuff

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

I understand the logic here BUT am psychologically incapable of following it. It’s why I always book an aisle seat, I NEED to pop up into the aisle as soon as the light goes off, no matter how far back I’m sitting. Someone explain this to me!
The Pope: don’t even think about getting up and crowding the aisle until your row is up. I love this guy.
