I am SO excited to share that my sci-fi novella, Bright Phaedra, has landed with Thinking Ink Press @thinkinginkpress.bsky.social

It's a near future story about asexual connection, the temptations of AI, and the unboundedness of love.

Today at @thedeadlands.com one of the favorite poems I've written lately, and 2025 has been a good year for my poetry. This poem is about a Yiddish play that haunts me, Night in the Old Marketplace, which was never performed as written. Some critics say it is not a play at all.
“This is a story: there’s a marketplace
at midnight. Your voice
calls the dead to awaken.”

today’s new poetry, beloveds! 🖤💀

there was an active shooter on campus yesterday (Laney College), someone was shot, and the shooter wasn't apprehended

yeah...

less important, our wood firing had to be paused 10 hours in and we'll start it up again today

the storm did not help things, either. It's been a big 24 hours.
