Trans rights are human rights. Fight for all human rights.

Film, tech, animals, architecture and sometimes humans.

Found Blood of the Dragon ('71) in a four DVD collection for $5... it has provided so much more entertainment than that price. Ridiculously fun, pretty good choreography and with just enough jokes to keep it fun while not getting absurd. Can't recommend enough and a good gateway film to the genre.

I need retweets on this: Naomi is a disabled trans woman in the Baltimore area in need of a place to sleep. If you have a couch or a spare bedroom or know someone who does, please get in touch. She's getting screwed around with every service she tries to access: gofund.me/118ecb82e

Finally have a nice copy of Mirror. Tarkovsky's way of using the equipment and film he could get a hold of was masterful. Would have loved to meet them and chew their ear off about how shots were made and just how dangerous some of the rigging was. Never made a film I didn't love.

I leave before the dark comes.

We live over in town, miles away.

So there won't be anyone around if you need help.

We couldn't hear you... in the night.

No one could. No one lives any nearer than town. No one will come any nearer than that..

...in the night, in the dark.

that my story could bring catharsis to people dealing with stuff, even if it's not mental illness related, even if it's just "my parent was complicated and I have anger" is like. important. knowing people experiencing smi feel seen is EVERYTHING to me but the adjacent stuff is also real meaningful

Bring Her Back (2025) is one of the few recent films that have made me squirm. Immersive acting and setting throughout. Wonderful play with the mystery of what exactly is going on by properly pacing out each intriguing clue and while it's not hard to guess, the truth is nicely ambiguous. Grapefruit.

Snag a copy of Hello Sunshine.

@keezyyoung.bsky.social thank you so very much. It was hard to read, but it's because of how much it made me feel seen. Representation while not being portrayed as a villain or inhuman has released a weight I didn't know was there.

ok so why does visual studio put buttons in the UI that are like "this does nothing but it costs 5 minutes of your life if you click it" like I might as well light up a cigarette each time I misclick them
