I find Berman’s comments worrisome. Growing the league focuses on hooking the next generation on content and betting rather than getting them to play the game. Does betting actually create fans or just focus attention on the league superficially, as people chance dopamine in the form of parlays?

My 96 year old great-aunt (this cousin’s mother) also died last night. The future where I’m the only one left in my family isn’t far away. Everyone else is 75+.
One of my mother’s cousins died of pancreatic cancer this morning after just being diagnosed a few weeks ago.
I hate this time of year - so many people in my family have died around Christmas.

spent an hour writing notes on a work escalation - 4 pages in Word - about why I know it looks right at first glance, but when you dig into the data, it doesn’t add up.
