Gyms are surprisingly delicate ecosystems, with their own rhythms and shared understandings that keep them working for everybody. These first few weeks of January always demonstrate how easily that can all get thrown out of sync.
I see a lot of people have resolved to look at their phones and do nothing on equipment at my gym instead of at home.
