You can even see precursors to your point in the tech industry pre-LLMs. The increasing appetite for "full-stack" devs and frameworks, to reduce specialization and thus worker bargaining power. The goal with LLMs is to make any remotely technical person responsible for everything at once.

A lot of people are sharing this to prove that AI is bad for businesses but missing that it doesn't say that it hurts the bottom line, just that it makes workers more miserable with unclear gains for businesses

Yep. The most common issue here is that while background colors can animate, gradients can't, so you have to animate custom props and pipe them into the gradient. But of course, doing so requires \@property!

@chriscoyier.net @davatron5000.bsky.social The custom property animation problem you were trying to figure out is that you can’t animate or transition the _property itself_. You can use custom properties in animatable properties though. Example: codepen.io/vamptvo/pen/...

I was at a Lunar New Year event at The Met for children and the host made a point of asking the audience to peacefully stand up for their immigrant neighbors. Something very dark about how the fascist threat is so ever-present now that even events like this are addressing it.

It's honestly breathtaking, I don't think I've seen such a yawning chasm between elected Democrats and the electorate. Dems are gonna negotiate themselves down to a pro-ICE position while the entire country begs someone to stop ICE.

I've had it happen with both external ones and the Deck controls, and once it happens switching between the two doesn't fix it. Only fix is restarting the game

Apparently one of the bugs I'm running into isn't a problem with Act 3, but likely a regression caused by recent patches. It wasn't happening before iirc www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/...

I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable.
