Of course you can't have him say it was all a dream that's clearly a nightmare
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The problem with starving the poor is that the grocery stores won't sell as much product
There’s growing concern among grocery stores, restaurants and food producers, as some economists say the lapse SNAP payments is likely to cause lower-income households to scrutinize their spending more.
With SNAP on Hold, Low-Income Shoppers Cut Back and Businesses Worry
A delay in SNAP benefits mixed with a decline in foot traffic has many stores, restaurants and food producers concerned about sales.

A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.
Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."
Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

In this house we believe Gordon Lightfoot sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald like that one bond villian who made his own news
Well, this is timely! New evidence presented ahead of the 50th anniversary of the disaster prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in heavy seas because the captain drove it under the water instead of on top. "I guess he was trying something new," say researchers.

It's awesome that we always send America the worst of our trash and then they end up on tv as our national representatives
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

This is such a shitty headline for what those experts said - one of them is Geoffrey Hinton who literally quit Google so he could hate on AI in public. What they actually said is that maybe in 20 years AI could engage in certain logic puzzles in a way humans can't keep up with.

Her husband told her that detainees at Broadview had to get up at 5am to get in line for one bathroom. He often peed himself. One time he had to wait until 2pm to use the bathroom. You could only use the bathroom once a day. He said the agents would beat you if you used the bathroom on yourself.
