Will Lewis’s exit is long overdue. His legacy will be the attempted destruction of a great American journalism institution. But it's not too late to save The Post. Jeff Bezos must immediately rescind these layoffs or sell the paper to someone willing to invest in its future.

Our opinion page published a guest piece on Lindsey Vonn that was misogynistic trash. I had thoughts.
Your Lindsey Vonn advice is misogynistic trash. Keep it to yourself
A recent opinion piece about Lindsey Vonn was ill-informed, condescending and misogynistic. Here's why.

Today, February 7, 2026, is officially the 100th anniversary of Negro History Week and the 50th anniversary of Black History Month.

Carter G Woodson purposely started Negro History Week on February 7th so that it would end on February 14th, which is Frederick Douglass's birthday

This is awesome. I was raised on John P Kee among many others growing up in church. Mom played his songs practicing for the choir. Gonna enjoy this.

It’s been a hard day for anybody who loves journalism and respects what it means. Forget the fact I’m in this business. I grew up a reader. I studied media criticism. I still read other papers to learn or just enjoy.

You can’t replace what’s been lost and what will be lost from this news.

I typically don't care who wins a Grammy because that show has a history of being wonky with awards. Can't get mad about snubs knowing their history. If my faves win, doesn't change how I feel about em.

But it's cool Benito got AOTY knowing what he wanted that album to mean for Puerto Rico.

This is a heater. Meant to share it a couple days ago but it's brilliant at taking down Bob Marley's "Legend" and the well-known steps behind its curation while also praising the music on it. Nuanced writing that reminds how legends can be re-molded from the shape they fought to establish.

I've wondered lately why I've evolved to not look for athletes to speak up. The W always will. A few more will. But if you're waiting for a celebrity to speak up to make you feel good, ask yourself why? I don't need it. I'll take it. But I can speak for me and the streets are talking just fine
attn: everyone asking why athletes aren’t speaking out on Minneapolis, please meet two-time MVP, three-time world champion, three-time Olympic gold medalist Breanna Mackenzie Stewart.

If John Harbaugh delivers for the Giants like Hamilton, Elia Mediterranean Restaurant will be known as “the room where it happened”. The dinner that helped seal the deal.

Maybe it gets remembered like the famous 1989 lunch b/w Jerry Jones & Jimmy Johnson before Jerry hired Jimmy
