Has the fire ceased?

After 467 days, will Gazan skies carry clouds & sun rather than bombs & death?

Will history rewrite itself? Will those who stood silent claim to have been there all along by our sides? Will our memories be enough of a witness?

Has the fire ceased?
Has the Fire Ceased?
We will not stop until Palestine is free.

If you don't know much about Marilyn Sneiderman's impact on the labor movement—and even if you do—I urge you to read this piece from @sarahljaffe.bsky.social in @inthesetimesmag.bsky.social. Sneiderman just retired, but her transformational impact is ongoing. A great read.

Hard disagree! In my opinion, the best books are part of the effort of ushering in a new world to come, which means that the "book" as object itself is just part of what should be a larger organizing vehicle. Publishers never allocate $ to marketing, should be $ for organizing. Book project > Book
Not a fan of the "book project." It's a book! You are researching and writing a book! Picture it into being. Use the @alexanderchee.bsky.social hack to peruse bookstores, find your section & seek out which two authors your name on your book's spine will appear between. See the book, not a project!
