Extending this, for each procedure on a given sample or set of subsamples, there'll be relationship between the DISTRIBUTION of results for your measured variables M and the DISTRIBUTION of true values for the outcome variable O. (If M isn't O, M's a set of proxy variables.)

When Trump and the other idiots say they're attacking "Antifa", they're attacking you. It's not-too-subtle coded language for Nazi fellow travelers who have always hated America and Americans. No state in history has ever relinquished its claims before they began, making a pinky promise to not be mean. Everyone is "totalitarian" by this thinking. The United States is by definition "totalitarian". Thomas Jefferson's words WERE a "panegyric on absolute government".
A totalitarian movement must never achieve its goals, as that would eliminate the need for the movement itself. Even in victory, new enemies must be created in order to justify further cruelty and domination.
A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

Regarding the news about the notoriously inoffensive Jimmy Kimmel, I just think it shows how ridiculous this culture war has been. You can't even do milquetoast comedy shows without the screech machine turning on. Conservatives really hate people who are funny because conservative humor sucks.

I survived a campaign of eugenics that was implemented by the Chinese in Singapore through the public school system. There were tons of extremely racist & colorist students from China who joined the school system there. It has felt like some group of Chinese has surveilled me my entire life.
