German taxpayers are handing BMW €273m to once again attempt to push hydrogen-powered cars, when battery prices have once again dropped >50% in the past ~18 month and CATL is on its 5th-gen LFP battery.
CATL, BYD et al must be laughing all the way to the bank.

India needs to do something to its worsening air pollution problem. Yes India has standards. Yes, India has laws. But if the power plants and car manufacturers do not improve things then the situation gets worse as e.g. coal use increases.

The IEA has brought back the Current Policies Scenario (CPS) in the World Energy Outlook (WEO).
I think this will be useful. Fossil CO2 emissions keep rising, when they should be falling. It is time to admit that. So I hope the CPS can help address this issue.

The IEA has brought back the Current Policies Scenario (CPS) in the World Energy Outlook (WEO).
I think this will be useful. Fossil CO2 emissions keep rising, when they should be falling. It is time to admit that. So I hope the CPS can help address this issue.
