Supreme Court: Colleges can't use race as a factor in college admissions.

Also the Supreme Court: ICE can use racial profiling to stop people on the street.

The underlying legal principle: The concept of race can only be used as a tool of oppression, as it was intended to be.

Something I will never forget that my mom told me: “After Tiananmen Square incident, I still had to go to work the next day, 日子还得过 (过日子 is, specifically, about going about your responsibilities and maintaining the life you have)."

People should not have to choose between stability and their ideals.

Power, wealth, fame corrupt and destroy. Show up for local concerts, shows, and sports. Spend your money there. Support people in your own community. It matters.

And why not comedies? National Lampoons Vacation...that's not a dad movie?
I mean, I get the responses, but as a girl dad, I'm watching things like Kpop Demon Hunters. I saw Frozen hundreds of times. Because I'm a dad.

Thinking about the tibetan monks who make beautiful sand paintings, only for them to be destroyed after enjoying them for awhile.
