Excited to be a researcher on this passion project as a late diagnosed neurodivergent woman with ADHD. It's been a privilege to interview women who shared their experiences and work with a team of neurodivergent researchers.

This is a glimpse of our findings so far.

I’m shocked to read this. This affordable housing agreement has created second class citizens who can’t enter the building via the main entrance.

Shame on the developers and NSW Government for allowing this to happen.

I’m supervising a PhD student researching the health impacts from heat islands and can confidently say the research is pretty robust that heat deaths are a thing! They will/are increasing with climate change.
We need to be concerned about this.

In case you missed it. We have a new Disability Wellbeing Index.

“The Index covers ten domains that together capture the breadth of wellbeing for people with disability: relationships, daily life, meaningful life, housing, health, learning, respect and dignity, safety, finances, and work.”

Excellent critique of the National (Climate)Adaptation Plan.

“While the NCRA reads like a well-informed, science-backed document, the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) reads like a wet-blanket.”

Couldn’t agree more!!

So - let me get this straight…

They’ll ban social media for under 16s even though most experts say it WON’T work

But they won’t ban gambling advertising & other key recommendations even though most experts say it WILL work

What should Australian Governments do about ‘mental health’?
Along with climate change and ecological damage, Australians face an equally important challenge of exposure to stressful social conditions leading to declining psychological health for millions.
