cannot emphasize enough how indie/selfpub authors are out here doing storytelling that publishers refuse to publish and fascists hate

(not all,we're a diverse lot with a gross subset that's AI content creators not writers)

you want to disrupt the status quo?
Find (& support) the artists doing it.
Profiles in cowardice from the publishing industry.

Myself and many other queer independent authors are out there putting our work into the world whether publishers have the good sense and guts to or not.

You don't have to put the editor's name (or any greeting other than 'Hi') in your cover letter.

If you do choose to do put an editor's name in, make sure to at least spell it right FFS...
