Sorry to sound so grumpy but this has the same vibe as people moaning about the state of public services at the same time as not wanting to pay more in tax. What's any government (right or left) supposed to do when people don't go shopping or to pubs as much as they used to - and never will again?

The psychopathic Russian tools calling themselves Georgian Dream are completely crushing Georgian society. 🤬

They simply cannot stop spreading the most horrendous misery, despair, and oppression everywhere and anywhere they're able to.

Russia must be defeated.
Georgian authorities have announced new sweeping legislative amendments, targeting civil society, independent media, and political parties. The changes would significantly extend the government’s control mechanisms over international funding.

I’m with you completely. I am an EU citizen, my country of birth has been there from the start. Britain seems to have a limited transactional view on anything related to *Europe*, and a sort of semi-amused stance towards people who are not British. The old Empire is still lurking, needs to be 1/2

To be honest and realistic about this is extremely important. I’ve said from the Referendum onwards that Britain/UK/England (?) needs thorough deliberation on its place in Europe and a long long time to do this.

The EU has imposed further sanctions over human rights abuses in #Iran.

The decision follows the violent repression of the recent peaceful protests and arbitrary detentions.

In addition, the EU has adopted sanctions in view of Iran's support to Russia’s war.

It allows free trade between the bloc and the world's most populous country. Together they make up a market of 2 billion people.

This is a brilliant move to become more independent from the US.

This is a Brexit fallout that is enraging, deeply undemocratic and damaging for the whole country.
Tories, Reform and Labour have all decided that their stereotype of the brexity social conservative red wall voter is the *only* voter worth bothering with. The rest of us can go to hell.
It is genuinely astounding how Reform, Labour and the Tories have decided to fight tooth-and-nail for the votes of the same 30-35 percent of the electorate and completely ignore everyone else.
Badenoch's strategic genius on full display here, telling centrist voters to fuck off, including in the 60+ seats the party lost to the Lib Dems, so she can focus on competing with an extreme right party ahead of her in the polls.
