Rough draft QTE.

I want to remove the random chance of capturing and replace it with various difficulty QTEs.

Right now, the QTE has a success threshold that you have to meet to consider it passed rather than doing them all perfect.

(Unless the threshold = the number of inputs)

How does everybody do Aim Offsets in UE5 that don't suck? I used to use a chain of Transform Modify Bone nodes but that stopped working somewhere along the way and the traditional way is such a hassle and you literally can't use it without some type of Left Hand IK which I'm not good at.

Just released a new short range teleport / blink tutorial. Allows tagging to move through objects & actors with only a few traces to check for available space. The project includes an after image Niagara effect (description links to The Epic Singh who shows how to make it).

One really small thing I did yesterday was add hitbox-based damage multipliers, and adding physic reactions to headshots akin to Halo 2. Much more satisfying to score headshots.

It's my three-day weekend, I'm a low paid employee, and now I'm struggling not to spiral because work wanted me to do a lot of extra busywork tasks that I don't usually have to do and they waited until I was at home and in my post-morning shift crash to message grilling me about it.

Hey, I made a Blender add-on for game assets!

It fixes all the problems with Blender-to-Unreal FBX exports, and makes it easy to manage multiple anims in 1 .blend file

I just pushed a new update that adds more options to the FBX exporter

There were so many problems and unforeseen gotchas in getting even a SCRAP of clothing on her. Clipping. Rendering depth issues. Outline issues. UHG.

The results? Untextured leggings that will 100% get this post flagged. I'll just beat them to the punch and put it on myself.

You know, at first I didn't think 5.7 preview was really gonna have anything that was going to excite me, but the retargeting for even meshes I used to struggle with in 5.6 is so simple now! What used to take me hours of fiddling with animations and RTG assets takes minutes and it's automatic!
