This @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social video is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The numbers he cites, the strategy and results they produced — it’s the future. When have you heard *any* campaign talk about this, ever? (Video split in 2 to fit in Bluesky’s limits)

Both of my neighbors just had babies, one delivered by c-section. I just had a sectional delivered. I feel like they need to know this. We’re basically the same now.

We sat together at one summer’s end,
That beautiful mild all-natural Johnsonville Italian sausage, your close friend,
And you and I, and talked of poetry.

OK we are live!!! Let's grant some wishes with the collective Bluesky money cannon - Holidays 2024 Edition. Thread w/links, details on how you can participate and why we do this annually for foster kids. Last year we kept wiping out wishes and One Simple Wish (not yet on here) had to replenish LFGGG
Every year around this time, @treblaw.bsky.social and I have a personal ask... We want to get wishes granted for kids in foster care. Lots of wishes... all the wishes! And we do it through an amazing organization we are personally connected to: One Simple Wish.

Love this every year, and I love the energy and generosity of the BlueSky community.
Tons of great wishes left - we’re hoping Jamir’s new Jordans make him feel like a million bucks.

Love you all. Please care of yourselves and those who need you. Part of taking care of myself will likely be avoiding doom-scrolling, both for politics and Philadelphia sports, which have once again been thrust into proper perspective. So less BlueSky for me. For now.

it was literally how much stuff costs at the grocery store. The masses don't want aspirational, good policy. They want to not have to pay $5.49 a bag for half bbq chips, half air. And they simply don't know any better who is responsible for that

Cooper DeJean, man. He’s not gonna be special; he’s *already* special. 🦅

The Trump defense for one of his invited rally speakers calling Puerto Rico "garbage" is that he doesn't know who speaks at his rallies, doesn't have control of it, some guy must've snuck in there or something, and this is why you should put him in charge of staffing the US government.

Can’t believe Mangiapane isn’t a Flyer. Tim Panaccio must be rolling over in his grave.

I continue to think it’s a huge miss by MLB not scheduling weekend *day* games for the World Series. A late afternoon Saturday start at the Bronx or Dodger Stadium? Shadows creeping in? Sun starting to set? Hell yeah. I’d watch the full nine. Oh, and kids can watch too. Grow your damn game.

Did I miss something? Anything in particular driving the latest X/Twitter exodus?

At least we won’t have to listen to AJ and Adam again.
