We deserve a Democratic Party that is willing to fight as hard as we are.

We need new leadership in this moment and to get there, we need a chorus of support for change. Tell your Democratic senators to call on Senator Schumer to step aside as Minority Leader. It’s time for drastic action.

I truly don’t know how you look at the past week and THEN decide THIS is an appropriate — let alone the right — response.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Most children who need mental health care have difficulty, or are unable to, obtain it. 3 of 5 youth who die by suicide do not have a documented mental health diagnosis.

We wrote about how pioneering Medicaid programs are paying for services for kids who do not have a mental health diagnosis.

Behavioral health services are typically reimbursed only after a diagnosis. This makes it harder for providers to deliver preventive care when early concerns arise.

Judge orders Philly to stop taking parking spaces on Pine and Spruce Streets for bike-friendly loading zones
The “neighborhood loading zones” were intended to give residents, delivery trucks, and contractors a place to stop without parking in a bike lane, which is now prohibited.

reminder of a really understated consequence of the megabill:
The U.S. Senate has just approved a massive reconciliation bill. Analyses by the CBO show it would lead to million of peoples losing Medicaid coverage.

Among other effects, research has shown that when Medicaid has been cut, crime rates have gone up: boltsmag.org/medicai...
