Just came across “We Are the World” from USA for Africa. Remember this? I remember cutting class to watch the premiere on MTV. It was such a big thing… it’s so tacky now but it shows all these pop icons at the PEAK of what they later kind of become stereotyped as.

One of my core values is “honoring nature” so, despite being unemployed half of the year, at least I got to enjoy a LOT of nature. For that, being back in Oregon has been a gift. Took 18 camping trips in 2025, including a 6 day hike to Eagle Cap Wilderness, easily my most memorable trip.
