People are going to look back the era of cheap dopamine with the same incredulity that we now have about how everyone used to smoke and doctors prescribed coke and amphetamines for basically anything
For all the fun and opportunities it afforded for a minute I think the move from social networks to mass social media was a mistake and we're all going to be much better-adjusted if and when we start getting back into more intentional communities where you can't really be online microfamous
