I left my PhD (theoretical ecology) in large part due to retribution for being an agitator, saying things like "they are going to kill our department if we don't get ready to fight together" and "grad students are more on your side than business brained admins" to the faculty.
It makes me angry how caught off guard the scientific community was

With a printer, some scissors, and a laminator, Bloomington DSA has produced over 1000 of these cards in about a dozen languages. We even got multilingual friends to make translations into languages ilrc doesn't have. You can do it too!
The cards we saw in farm-worker communities in Central Valley CA need to become widespread across US
