Oh my! I didn't realize the Australian CDC already has a website: cdc.gov.au 🎉

It's technically the interim CDC, as it's only due in January 2026 (if all goes to plan).

Seems like a good time for the Speaker of the House to swear in Rep. Grijalva.

In any case, Mamdani and the like are the future of the Democratic Party.
We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.

A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”

Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

I've been researching the idea of Unconditional Universal Basic Income since 2013. Here's a collection of findings I've compiled from various UBI experiments and studies of cash transfer programs around the world.

This will be a VERY LONG and ongoing thread focused entirely on empirical evidence. 🧵

This announcement leaves so many unanswered questions:
- Why is Brereton still a Major-General in the ADF?
- What happens to all the defence referrals he has been working on, and making decisions on, until now?
- Why is he paid over $800k a year not to work on defence referrals?

There is so much blood it can be seen from space.
We need to talk about Sudan.

After more than 18 months of an inhumane siege and starvation in El Fasher, the RSF militia are committing mass killings of civilians on an unimaginable scale.

Apparently, the pooling blood is visible from space.
"Warnings were unheeded, civilians were left defenseless, & the RSF’s main patron – the UAE – continued to receive arms (including from Western nations) even as it passed them on to a genocidal militia."
