Our new study shows that SARS-CoV-2 spike protein accumulates & persists in the body for years after infection, especially in the skull-meninges-brain axis, potentially driving long COVID. mRNA vaccines help but cannot stop it🔬🧠🦠🧵Your weekend read👇

I am super excited to share our latest work on the native in-cell organization of the mitochondrial respiratory chain 🥳
Using cryo-electron tomography 🔬, we show how the respiratory complexes (and other complexes) are organized inside native mitochondria!

The Orion Nebula (M42) is a stellar nursery 1,344 light-years away. It glows in vibrant pinks, reds, and purples, where young stars form from swirling gas and dust. This iconic nebula offers a glimpse into the process of star birth in the universe.
