Why the theatrics? He can just order his lackey Pam Bondi to release the files.
Trump now says House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files “because we have nothing to hide”

This thread is BS. Fascism is an ideology, like communism. You don’t have to achieve the ultimate goal of a fascist regime to be labeled a fascist. It’s enough that it’s your goal. The Trump regime is fascist, but it’s not a police state yet. It’s still consolidating power.
1. If America were fascist right now, I would not be posting here. Neither would you.

Instead, I - and you - would be trying to build networks of people *offline* who can support and protect each other, in the dark, rather than yelling at the president and his stooges in our own names. /2

Amazing how racist goon squads can wake people up to danger, but it's unfortunate that everyone had to touch the hot stove to find out it was hot
In the recent New Jersey governor’s race, the Democratic Party clawed back much of the ground it had lost with Hispanic voters in the 2024 presidential race, according to a township-level analysis of results by The New York Times. See the maps.
Maps Show How Latinos Who Shifted Right in 2024 Snapped Back Left in 2025
The New Jersey governor’s race was the first significant sign that President Trump’s success with Hispanic voters in 2024 may have been only a temporary shift.

The Epstein files are not being released. It’s all theater. If the House passes the bill, it goes to the Senate. If the Senate doesn’t kill it, it goes to Trump for signature, and he’ll veto it. This whole thing is DOA.

I guess the Trump economic plan is for him to just make up a bunch of numbers and lie every single day about them and hope at some point people will believe him instead of their bank accounts.

Holy ass he said it out loud. They can't make us feed hungry people. This is insane. Like insane right? This is our tax money earmarked for SNAP and he's like no it's mine now, check out the ballroom.
Q: A federal judge ruled that the administration has to fully fund SNAP. DOJ said they're gonna appeal. What's your message to folks as we're headed to Thanksgiving?

No it’s important to listen to this. Because then you understand that many of them will do ANYTHING to keep power. Remember Musk got involved in the 2024 election after saying to Tucker “if she wins” I am definitely going to prison.

So we need to move knowing that nothing is off the table for them.

Q: One theory on how you might try to serve a 3rd term is that you could run at the vice president

TRUMP: Yeah, I'd be allowed to do that. But I would rule that out because it's too cute.

Biden made two huge mistakes as president. One was appointing the milquetoast Garland as AG, rather than a bulldog who would destroy Trump forever. The other was deciding to run for re-election. We may never recover from those bookends to his presidency.
The failire to prosecute Trump was all about placing politics ahead of justice.

Remember all the "it will backfire politically" columns from centrist pundity explaining why we had to corrupt our legal system and leave everything to the electorate?

How's that working out?
I came across this from that other place, written 12 days after J6 and two days before Trump was evicted and Biden took over. We are in the trouble we’re in because Trump was not held accountable for his crimes, particularly inciting a ldeadly insurrection. Accountability is key for our future.

While Canada “interferes” with a tv ad about Trump’s policy toward Canada, Bessent interferes in an election in Argentina with $20 billion in cash. Look in the mirror dude.
Bessent: "I've read that Ontario is spending up to $75 million on these advertisements and it's propaganda coming across our border to decry the tariffs. The premiere of Ontario seems to have come off the rails a little ... this is interference in US sovereign matters."

It is brazen and corrupt interference in another country’s election.

This is an important lesson for anyone still doubting that we're living in a dictatorship. Pay attention to how decisions are being made. Pay attention to "we can do it much faster, and remove the criminals that the law does not permit him to remove". IOW, "WE" are above the law.
Trump says he’s making military decisions based on what random “friends of mine” tell him about crime.
