Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.
Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts
Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

This makes me so angry. Healthcare costs will skyrocket. The bill Dems want won't pass. And no protections from Trump doing whatever he wants with funding they vote for. Those who vote for this are either ok supporting the lawless president or being promised something personal.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Husband is on a business trip. Flight home Mon night is canceled. Airline rebooked him for Tues but he has appts. So he thought about trying to get to the hub airport to get home Mon. Hertz wants $600(!!) to drop car at the hub airport instead of the city he's in. Insane. So I'll see him Tues. Grr
