Our IMV Climate Crisis Working Group is really not happy about this failure by Gov. Hochul.
Hochul again refuses to protect the people & environment of NYS.

"The reaction from environmental groups was blistering. @senecalakeguardian.bsky.social accused Gov. Kathy Hochul of 'abandoning the Finger Lakes,' weakening the state’s climate law, and siding with a 'fossil-fueled Bitcoin mine.'"

This is a betrayal of New Yorkers, a moral failure, and a dirty deal with Trump.

That’s not leadership — that’s surrender.

Look, it's Time's Climate Leader shirking her responsibility to the people of NY.

Climate leaders don’t ignore state climate law.

Maybe Governor Hochul should show her leadership by implementing the state’s Climate Law, lowering our bills, and making big corporate polluters pay instead.
Last time we checked, a climate leader doesn't:

- Violate NY's climate law
- Indefinitely delay a pollution cap program
- Drag her feet on public renewables
- Fast-track fossil fuel pipelines
- Green-light energy bill rate hikes
