The governor has now vetoed this bill. Yet another example of the Governor’s hypocrisy when she talks about caring about consumer affordability and of her total disregard for the climate crisis.@citizenactionny
The Utility Consumer Advocate Bill gives everyday New Yorkers our own watchdog in the room. It's on Governor Hochul’s desk right now, and we don't have much time.

This important study shows the IMMENSE amount of money the oil and gas billionaires spend to undo climate legislation.

We need a Governor who will stand up to greedy utilities and special interests and fight for climate justice.

This #ThanksTaking, we're thanking YOU, our members.

The last 10 months have tested us. But they have reminded us that when we stand together, we're capable of more than we realize. Together, we will overcome. Not because it’s easy, but because solidarity, care, & collective power carry us forward.

“Elise Stefanik’s H.R. 5214 is not only an attack on the rights of residents of Washington D.C. to determine local laws - it is also a part of Stefanik’s continued enabling of the Trump administration’s authoritarian takeover of American cities."

To get NYS to tax the rich, Zohran and we, the many, have the same objective but two distinct tasks:

Zohran's task is to play nice with the governor right up until the moment that becomes a dead-end.

Our task, as @nychange.bsky.social shows by example, is to push Hochul relentlessly, starting now.
🚨BREAKING: We’re ready for Round 2! Today, we came to Wall Street to endorse @delgadoforny.bsky.social for Governor.

While bankers rake in record profits, working people are being crushed. The choice is clear: corporate politics under Kathy Hochul or people power with Antonio Delgado.

This is a betrayal of New Yorkers, a moral failure, and a dirty deal with Trump.

That’s not leadership — that’s surrender.
BREAKING: Just weeks after a court ruled @governor.ny.gov violated the climate law, she's at it again by approving an expensive, costly, and dangerous pipeline project. Gov Hochul, you have a responsibility to make life safer, cleaner, and more affordable in NY — and you're failing miserably.
