i, uh, had to watch with the sound off in order to see the head shakes bc i didn’t consciously perceive them; like, i Did Not See the gesture—it bypassed directly into emotional sincerity as intensifiers of his spoken meaning
I have a friend from that area who has the exact same head shake mannerisms. Is this a regional thing?
